Hurtigruten

The Norwegian coast is world famous for its beautiful scenery, and on a tour with us, you will find places that will take your breathe away as you pass through 34 ports, some with only a few hundred inhabitants. As well as the stunning landscapes you pass, the rich variety of sights, sounds and smells are what make a Hurtigruten voyage truly unique.

NORWAY - Cruising along the breathtaking coast of Norway is one of the most sublime travel experiences available today. Since 1893 the Hurtigruten ("Quick Route in Norwegian") ships have been plying the waters off Norway's west coast and into the fjords, stopping in over 34 ports from Bergen up to Kirkenes. Elise & Joe Lalor, Rainier World Travel's owners, experienced the Hurtigruten a few years ago. It was amazingly scenic even in March. Some of the days were crystal clear with vistas of snow-capped mountains. When combined with the visits to quaint and friendly towns and villages along the way, the result is a truly memorable experience.

EXPLORER VOYAGES - From the magnificent coast of Greenland to the iceberg-filled channels of Antarctica, adventurous voyages take you closer to incredible environments and wildlife at the very ends of the Earth.
